In the Tui room 3 year old children will learn to spread their wings a little further as we provide the same continuity of care for the children as they transition from the Fantail room and move into a stimulating environment to further develop and enhance age appropriate learning through child initiated play and exploration. We provide an informal environment with child directed learning experiences using numeracy and literacy in play. Children are given the opportunities to increase their social skills and self-confidence and they are taught to be respectful of others and the environment. The time in the Tui room will help children to further develop their social and learning skills and grow in confidence and independence in preparation for their move to Get Set 4 School Centre.
